To those who are making the time to talk with the Lord have you noticed how much He is moving and telling you to keep telling ALL of His children to turn and run back to Him?

Tonight I noticed that some of my plants needed to be thinned out and the old and dead leaves and flower stems needed to be removed so it is ready to come back in the Spring. While I was working the Lord said, "tell them its time to cut the dead decaying parts away from you (sin). So that you can begin to bloom and grow new fruit."

Just as we go out in fall and prepare out gardens, fields, trees or flower beds for when they come back to life in the Spring. By trimming the dead parts away you are allowing the nutrients to go to the whole tree and not waste energy trying to save parts that are no longer thriving.

We are the same way. We need to lay down our hurts, unforgiveness, hate, anger, pride, alcoholism, porn, narcotics, abuse, ect (you can replace any of these with what you are struggling with) God doesn't want you to be focusing on the thing(s) that He hasn't blessed you with. Stop focusing your energy on them and remove your distraction, so you can begin to foster a relationship with Him.

God wants to heal you, He wants to prune off the dead branches so that you can produce good fruit.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, yet our inner self is being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary affliction is producing for us an eternal glory that is far beyond comparison. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Ephesians 4:22-24
To put off your former way of life, your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be renewed in the spirit of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Matt 7:16-19
By their fruit you will recognize them. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

John 15:1-2
I am the true vine, and My Father is the keeper of the vineyard. He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, and every branch that does bear fruit, He prunes to make it even more fruitful
