I am originally from New Hampshire, born and raised I grew up in a town called Salem NH which is about 30 miles from Boston. I joined the Army right out of high school I was in for 3 years and got out and went to college in Connecticut, WCSU. I graduated and worked for a while but was tired of doing the same thing over and over. So, I saw a sign to enlist in the Navy and see the world and that is what I did and stayed in for over 20 years and retired from the Navy in 2002. I lived in Virginia at the time and went back to school and earned a BA in English and a MS in Education I wanted to be a teacher. I then moved back to New Hampshire. But I had a hard time finding full time work as a teacher only as a substitute. I applied for a Job with the Veterans Administration. I was hired and after some training I became a Veterans service representative. I help Veterans who have been hurt or injured get disability. But after a couple of harsh winters I realized that I could not deal with the cold and snow anymore, so I put in for a transfer to Florida. It was accepted and I transferred to the Veterans Administration in St Petersburg Florida. That was in March of 2014.
I was married to Theresa Romano from Salem class of 74. I didn’t get married until I was in by 40’s so I thought I was a bit too old to have children. I was married for 17 year but divorced in 2018. We tried but drifted apart and had different want, needs, ideas and friend. So, we parted as friends.
