Daily blessings and prayers from Scripture.

2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

1 Corinthians 15:42–43 Our earthly bodies are planted in the ground when we die, but they will be raised to live forever. Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength.

James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Psalm 119:11  Thy word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against Thee.

Romans 15:4  For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

2 Peter 3:13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

May you not act in haste or emotion to resolve a problem by exercising final judgment, lest you move ahead of God and perform your own works by your own wisdom, for you will be known by what you do, as was Moses after killing the Egyptian. Exodus 2

May you offer courtesy and respect to others, providing defense and encouragement to resolve the dispute, not end the disputer, as did Moses when rescuing Jethro's daughters. Exodus 2

May you not cease to bring your situation and distress to the Lord, for He will hear your prayers and remember His promises and look upon you with loving care. Exodus 2

May you realize that you will be most suited for the work God gives you when you have the greatest knowledge of your own weakness and failure, for then you will know enough not to turn to your own strength and understanding, seeing them as unreliable and falling short of the need but will turn to the Lord for the abundance His work requires and will never be disappointed in Him. Exodus 3

May God rescue you from the hand of your oppressors and slave drivers as you cry out to Him, for He is concerned about your suffering and will bring you into a good and spacious land, flowing with milk and honey, and will be with you as you drive out the wicked inhabitants who occupy the land now. Exodus 3

May you continue to obey the Lord, step by step, though each step appears to fail, for the Lord will make Himself glorified in the sight of men, bringing victory from what appears to be defeat. Exodus 3

Do your duty, My child. Remain faithful to your assignments. Do not neglect the daily responsibilities, for therein are the tools by which I shape you, forming in you My nature and showing through you My image.

May you have faith as small as a mustard seed, so that nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17

May you not be discouraged or filled with grief and fear when you understand the suffering and tribulation God's people face, but hear also the promise, at the end, of life that is given and the joy of His presence that is promised to those who endure. Matthew 17

May you be slow to answer from your own understanding, willing to admit the need to ask, and quick to seek the wisdom of God. Matthew 17

May you never mistake a lack of goods for poverty, or an absence of things for a lack of resources, for though Jesus carried nothing with Him as He traveled, He had the full power of God backing Him with all the resources required to meet the needs of everyone around Him, not for His own pleasure or comfort, but to teach the kingdom of God. Matthew 17

May you trust in the Lord and let the Lord rescue you, for the Lord will deliver you since He delights in you. Psalm 22

May the Lord not be far from you when trouble is near, for there is no one else to help. Psalm 22

May you trust in the Lord, Who is enthroned as the Holy One, the Praise of Israel, for He will deliver you when you cry to Him, and you will not be disappointed. Psalm 22

May you not hate discipline or spurn instruction in your heart, for if you will not obey your teachers or listen to your instructors, you will come to the brink of utter ruin in the midst of your community. Proverbs 5:12-14
