The dual-frequency bands which almost every Linksys extender supports are responsible for providing the highest internet speed. Whereas, the WiFi channels work to avoid signal interferences and optimize the network too. So, once you complete the Linksys re6500 setup, access the advanced settings on the management portal to use both features. Ensure that both bands are activated and working in the right condition. Apart from that, choose the WiFi channels for your network which are less used or less congested. Also, those channels must be different from your neighbors’ network channels. In doing so, there will be minimum interferences and overlapping in the networks. Here, it is suggested to check these two options frequently and make changes when you feel needed.
