One prays that the Lord would use their children for His glory, then when He decides to use them in a way that also brings about pain and suffering in their life, well it’s just not an easy journey to watch or walk through with them...But through it all one begins to identify “some” with how Mary must have felt as she watched her Son, Jesus, being persecuted and in turn the child learns “some” how Jesus must have felt when He was persecuted...
Just wanted to share our oldest sons thoughts on being scarred...looking through the eyes of someone who is blind in hopes that our scars might remind us to be careful not to injure others and that it might bring encouragement to some during those seasons of life that are so painful the suffering leaves you scarred for life...
Scarred for life
Being scarred is a part of life. It’s what you do with your scars that matter. When you fall off your bike when you a kid it’s painful and you run to your parents to help you because it is painful. Your parents put a band aid over the cut to help it heal. When the band aid is pulled off the scar is still there and every time you look at the scar you remember what happened. So being blind, being paralyzed, being hurt by people, being told you are not good enough, all those things are scars in your life.
Just like Jesus dying on the cross He has scars on His body. He used those scars to remember what He did for us and to show that He is who He said He is.
So remember any scars you have is meant for you to look at on a daily basis and use those scars to show everyone that Jesus is a part of your life...
Remember your scars are meant for good and to further the kingdom of God...
Remember it’s ok to be scarred for life...

Fully Carry Out Your Ministry
I didn’t know the Bible even mentioned politicians until I read psalm 58 in a few different translations...It never ceases to amaze me how biblical days are often times the same as today...Ultimately God Himself will bring justice here on earth...Then what do we do in the meantime???
Is this any way to run a country?
Is there an honest politician in the house?/You high and mighty politicians don’t even know the meaning of the word! Justice/Fairness? Which of you has any left? Not one! All your dealings are crooked: you give justice in exchange for bribes/In your heart you plan evil; you think up violent crimes in the land...Behind the scenes you weave webs of deceit, behind closed doors you make deals with demons...These men are born sinners, lying from their earliest words! Poison, lethal rattlesnake poison, drips from their forked tongues—Deaf to threats, deaf to charm, decades of wax built up in their ears...God, smash their teeth to bits, leave them toothless tigers{He will not suffer the malice of the wicked to triumph, He will deal them such a blow as shall disable them from mischief}...The godly will rejoice when they see injustice avenged...They will wash their feet in the blood of the wicked...
Then at last everyone will say, there truly is a reward for those who live for God; SURELY THERE IS A GOD WHO JUDGES JUSTLY HERE ON EARTH...

So what do we do until God brings justice???
The time will come when people will not listen to the truth. They will look for teachers who will tell them only what they want to hear....They will not listen to the truth....Instead, they will listen to stories made up by men...As for you;
?Always keep a clear mind in every situation
?Endure suffering/Do not be afraid to suffer for our Lord
? Do the work of an evangelist, tell others the Good News from place to place...
?Fulfill your ministry/Fully carry out the ministry God has given you
