EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT LESSON - GOD IS DEFINITELY NOT FINISHED WITH THE JEWS / ISRAEL
I don't know how in the world a person can read Romans 11 (as well as other Scriptures including in the OT) and come to any other conclusion than that God still loves and is working through the Jews with the ultimate purpose of turning them back to Him and their Messiah, Jesus the Christ.
A DAY OF MOURNING - A BETTER COUNTRY
Although we know that God is ultimately in control, today, 1/20/2021, is nevertheless a day of mourning for Americans. Wicked, wicked, godless people have usurped authority from the American people with the intent of never relinquishing it as long as America exists as a country. So we must mourn while at the same time be looking for a better country and eternal.
"When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn." (Proverbs 29:2 KJV)
"For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. ... But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city." (Hebrews 11:14, 16 KJV)
GOD IS WATCHING...
Don't think that those that have/are committing fraud in order to get this or that person elected are getting away with anything. God is watching and forgets nothing.
"Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb." (Psalm 37:1-2 KJV)
"But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds:" (Romans 2:5-6 KJV)
ROSH HASHANA, aka FEAST OF TRUMPETS
"Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation." (Leviticus 23:24 KJV)
Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year (or "Head of the Year" ) begins at sundown on Sunday, 9/29/2019. "Shana Tova" means "Good year," similar to us saying "Happy New Year." The ram's horn (Shofar) is blown throughout the day.
Some also call this the "Feast of Trumpets" and many Christians believe that the fulfillment of this feast will be the Rapture of the Bride of Christ (see I Corinthians 15:52, I Thessalonians 4:16). Come quickly and soon, Lord Jesus!!!
