My life said that too. I was well stocked with pride, prejudice, presuming and the overarching idol of self.
They were deceived – more to the point – I was deceived.
You don’t realize that spiritually you are wretched & miserable & poor & blind & naked. Rev 3:17 TLB

God designed us to feel remorse over sin in order to produce repentance that leads to victory. This leaves us with no regrets. But the sorrow of the world works death. 2 Cor 7:10 TPT
Half the solution is identifying the problem. Could it possibly have anything to do with me?
First acknowledge and deal with your own ‘blind spots,’ and then you’ll be capable of dealing with the ‘blind spot’ of your friend. Mat 7:5 TPT
This “dealing with” is heart therapy using creative miracles:
Create in me a clean heart, O God; restore within me a sense of being brand new. Ps 51:10 Voice

Me believing triggers the ‘big’.
“Because you’re not yet taking God seriously,” said Jesus. “The simple truth is that if you had a mere kernel of faith, a poppy seed, say, you would tell this mountain, ‘Move!’ and it would move. There is nothing you wouldn’t be able to tackle.” Mat 17:20 Msg
How to get faith:
Before you trust, you have to listen. But unless Christ’s Word is preached, there’s nothing to listen to. / Faith, then, is birthed in a heart that responds to God’s anointed utterance of the Anointed One.

The empowering words that release divine action:

Denial is a river in Egypt – don’t drain the water – it’s too much. But do drain denial because:
