Holy One, You are Truth, and Satan’s native language is the lie.
How prevalent his initial challenge is today… “Did God really say…?”
“Do you think He’d really withhold this pleasure from you?”
Forgetting, when choosing the lie, we choose the consequences too.
Even when we shift the blame, the consequences still remain.
Thank you that Your call to repentance can still be heard.
That even when we hide in shame You still pursue
For nothing is worth a severed relationship with You.

How committed to YHWH am I, how committed are you?
Committed not just to make that choice…
But committed to take that first step and follow through?
Committed to making hard changes, to even taking big risks…
To stepping up, to stepping out of that comfort zone?
To choosing obedience to His will even when its hard.
May Holy One direst you, may He direct me I pray…
In those first steps of RENEWED obedience today.

RENEW the willingness to watch, to wait, to be still…
That this life be lived out according to Your will!

As you DISCERN His direction each step of the way.
