How prevalent his initial challenge is today… “Did God really say…?”
“Do you think He’d really withhold this pleasure from you?”
Forgetting, when choosing the lie, we choose the consequences too.
Even when we shift the blame, the consequences still remain.
Thank you that Your call to repentance can still be heard.
That even when we hide in shame You still pursue
For nothing is worth a severed relationship with You.
