Hebrew Lesson 6

How many times do you use the word “and” in a sentence?

Every night my wife calls the family together for Bible study by saying (in Hebrew): I want to read “and” pray.

The Hebrew word for this lesson takes the place of “and” in a sentence. You merely use the “Vav” as a prefix to a word. (I.E., that’s one reason Hebrew uses less words than English. Hebrew merely attaches a prefix or suffix to a word).

Review lessons 1-5, if necessary. They are on my personal Facebook page. I will also post the link to the video and quiz going along with this lesson (in comments). Be sure and watch the video and take the quiz.

Hebrew Lesson 5

Review the first four lessons, if necessary. They are available on my personal Facebook page. And, the video and quiz links (for Lesson 5) will be in the comments section.

This lesson will work on your vocabulary and introduce the letter hey, which is similar to the English “H”. The letter hey at the beginning of a word adds “the” to the word. For example: “EESH” is man, and “HA-EESH” is “the man”.
