This project is just about buttoned up; Sadies plus Dog House. Have to put a few more coats of poly on the dog houses and paint the screws holding the 8" woofers. Wanted to get these to a diy meet for critical evaluation this year, but I guess 2020 had other plans. The Sadies are an XT25tg30 mated to a FaitalPro 5fe120. The Dog Houses are Dayton rs225-8 in a ported ... well it appears my crs has kicked in ... IIRC, a ported 1.5ft³ enclosure with 1.5" thick sides constructed with Poplar and Pine. Semi-active crossover. Used the red 'Audiophiler' caps in most crossover positions. IMO, they sound ok for a value priced cap. Used some npe caps in a couple out-of-band woofer notches. The handoff from bass to mid is handled by a minidsp 2x4 basic.
