Colorado has decided that the Constitution means nothing. This Country has repeatedly violated the 2nd and 5th Amendements and now are trying to take even more. Colorado is now trying to pass a law that states if a person is convicted of any misdermeaner that they deam as violent restricts that person from Constitutionally being able to own a firearm. Whats next? Get a traffic ticket and loose rights. No matter where a person stands on convicted felons and now possibly those convicted of misdermeaners possing weapons the fact still stands that once a person has completely fulfilled their required penalties or punishments to the state they are under the law to recieve all rights as a United States Citizen back. We allow them to take for one reason and they find more ways to take. Please review the shootings around the country over the last several months. All but 1 were under the governments rules allowed to possess guns. They waited on one they could use to change the laws again and they got it. A misdermeaner. My heart goes out to all those who were victims of these brutal events. Thoughts and prayers go out to all and their families. The fact still remains that we allowed them to change the constitution and it has changed nothing. We need to have all laws on every level that violate the Constitution removed. Put the constitution back hiw it was written and inforce laws based on that! Many will not agree with me. Many will say criminals should not have guns. Criminals are not committing mass shootings. Them taking gun rights from citizens just because they were convicted of any crime is a means to an end. It was the government testing to see if they could take rights from us all. They did that and proved they could. Now they take at will. How many states do you think will jump on the misdemeaner bandwagon if that passes in Colorado?
