The president has failed miserably to keep his promise to get us out of the middleast and Afghanistan. As it pertains to his foreign policies he is just another neo-con, and showering us with more jobs, and higher stock market numbers will not stop the collapse of our republic.
How should the Christian Church address the world?
Acts 24:24-25:
"And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ. And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee."
Notice: the holy apostle did not begin his message with the love of God, or with promises of any earthly blessings if men would only "accept Jesus as Savior." Paul began with "righteousness", that is, the true righteousness of God according to the law of God, and how God does not judge man according to how men compare themselves to other men. The judgment of God is according to righteousness against those who do evil. No message of the gospel is complete without the warning of ". . . judgment to come." This is usually the critical and vital part of the gospel message that is sadly missing in most gospel presentations. There should be a "flee from the wrath to come" in every gospel outreach.
Being a Christian is not a result of a cultural acquisition, nor is it a birthright, neither does it have anything to do with where you were physically born whether America or some other western nation. You must repent towards God and have faith towards our Lord Jesus Christ, and thereby are born again by the Holy Spirit of God, or else you are none of His. Salvation by faith through the grace and longsuffering of God, and not because you were born in America where cultural "Christianity" is decieving millions who are still on the road to Hell.
