Thanks to CDC's studies we have a much better understanding of what were once thought of as cold viruses.
It is now known that if you have the symptoms of cough, shortness of breath, body aches, congestion, perhaps fever, and sometimes loss of taste and smell, this is not just a cold or influenza as was once thought. Authorities now realize that this is the Delta variant of COVID.
Thanks to modern government studies we might assume there never was such a thing as a "cold" or "influenza", but it was the Delta variant of COVID all along.
