The hopeful conviction of a people committed to a Creator and a cause greater than themselves gave birth to the United States of America. Nothing outside of the USA is powerful enough to tear her down. But the rapidly metastasizing cancer of "smallness" may soon consume her vitality from the inside. The heartbeat of this once-great nation is at risk.
Hanging out with friends who care as much about your success as you do is rare. Some populations tend to be more supportive than others. For example: aspiring authors. I have seven books on Amazon, four best-sellers, and gobs of admiration for creative folks. I'm more of a technician, so I tip my hat to you all. My skills fall more into the goal achievement and problem-solving arenas than telling stories that didn't really happen (think fiction, not fake news.)

As a former motivational speaker, speaking to a couple of hundred people should be exhilarating and fun. I work a room naturally and never met a stranger. Yet, somehow, this event telegraphed another change in God's plan.
This wasn't my first rodeo.
Seasons change in an orderly manner because we serve a God of balance and order. In the midst of change you may acquire an unexpected new skill or lose one you've accepted as permanent.
Apparently, my skill set has changed.
