Within 2 steps of walking through a field, Dexter and I simultaneously realized that a small coiled piece of barbed wire got stuck on his tail, and just before he could respond with the horse equivalent of "Oh F*$%", I had his nose pulled to the toe of my boot and was able to slide out of the saddle and remove the offending wire.
Dexter and I like our new (used) western saddle, and my body protector vest. After 2020, I need to be rolled in bubble wrap. ?
