Federal judges serve for life, deciding cases involving the most important issues of our time. It’s no wonder Senate liberals are working hard to slow down President Trump’s ability to place Constitutional judges.
President Trump has filled 68 judgeships already. He currently has 135 federal judicial vacancies to fill, and 19 that will become vacant in the future.
Heritage scholars help spotlight vacancies, evaluate potential appointees’ records, recommending names, and defending appointees’ character in the media.

The Heritage Foundation announced its 2019 Policy Priorities:
IMMIGRATION. Congress must establish an orderly, merit-based system that encourages assimilation. If it does not, the cost to America will be staggering.
HEALTH CARE. “Medicare for all” is the battle cry for Democrats. If conservatives do not advance a serious alternative plan now, our failure will forever be known as the stumble that led to single-payer.
ELECTION INTEGRITY. Liberals want policies that make election fraud easier, restrict political speech, stop efforts to improve election integrity, and impose federal redistricting rules that favor one political party over another.
FEDERAL SPENDING. America is hurtling toward fiscal insolvency and Congress is unwilling to apply the brakes. The fiscal crisis is real and bold leadership is desperately needed.
