Like Abram, God’s plans for us aren’t always perfectly clear. There are times when all the direction we have is, “Just keep walking, you’re not there yet.” This is when we learn to trust in God to guide our steps because we don’t know the way.

Our response is to obey and just keep walking with God to the destination He is leading us to. God brings us into these kind of situations that we might learn of Him and experience life with Him.

Life with God is an adventure and a journey.
Just keep walking.

The spoils of victory are waiting for those who can worship in the face of the battle. They are the ones who can go forth in faith rejoicing in God who is mighty to save. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Giving Him glory for all He has done and in faith for all He is about to do.

God is always the Father of the prodigal son waiting for us to come towards Him that He might run to us. When we draw near to God, God draws near to us.
He is waiting for you, to restore you and bring you into the family you were born to be in.

One of the struggles we have when it comes to God is that we tend to compare Him to mankind.

God remains faithful even when people are not because faithfulness is part of who He is.

God’s love is unending and unconditional. He extends new mercy every morning.

The excesses and extravagance of God’s nature are beyond our ability to understand.

We don’t see these qualities in others or even in ourselves while we are still a work in progress. Yet, this is who God is and we must learn to not compare Him to man or lesson His goodness by seeing Him on our level.

We must not question the greatness of who He is simply because we are aware of how limited we are. We must believe that He is. He is everything He says He is—and more!

We can know that when we diligently seek Him, we will be rewarded through the excessive goodness of who He is.

We all go through stuff.
We all have to deal with stuff we don’t like.
Everyone has their battles.

The devil likes to tell us that we are the only one going through anything and makes us feel like a failure. He likes us to think that God is against us not for us. These are lies. Like David, we have to preach to our souls and command them to praise God no matter what we are going through.

This is part of taking captive every thought and emotion. We must exercise self-control to choose the truth over the lies and praise God for who He is. Praise and thanksgiving are the languages of faith that lead us out of where we are and into what God has for us.

God hasn’t forgotten you. He is just waiting for you to get on the right path where He can lead you into victory.
