As a matter of introduction, twenty years ago after praying the Prayer of Jabez for quite some time, God revealed a vision (and burden) for me to steward. Here it is; 1) Put God's word out in public, 2) Encourage a great increase of prayer in the church and 3) Remind Americans of our Christian Heritage, all to help fulfill the great commandment and the great commission.
Here was another project God led me to develop twelve years ago to remind Americans of the importance of our American Christian Legacy. History is really a relay race, a very long relay race. Throughout scripture as well as American history, both Israel and the United States were most blessed when older generations successfully passed on to younger generations how important God and His word was. When this was done well, both countries were blessed. When it was done poorly, Israel suffered greatly. Today, America is suffering the same fate. Our generaton has dropped the baton of American Christian values that hundreds of millions of previous Americans have bled, sacrificed and died for. Consequently, God has taken His hand of protection off our country, and we are paying the price for it. Unless we as the church in America picks up our historical American Christian Values baton, and passes it on to the next generation, the hundreds of millions of Americans who ran their leg of the race before us will be dishonored, and their sacrifices wasted. For the younger generations, they will have been cheated out of both the blessing and protection of God because our generation will have failed to pass on the values of God previous generations passed on to us. America's future is up to us. Will be stay complacent or will be pick up the baton of American Christian Values and finish our part of the race well?
