God In Suffering & Illness

God doesn’t always “fix” things, but He is still God and He still loves us. But sometimes, it’s important for us to go through certain things. And just because God doesn’t appear to give us what we want, doesn’t mean God won’t give us what we need. God it always merciful, but we need to learn the difference between what we need and what we want. And to have faith no matter whether He “fixes” things or not!

I know that I have struggled with this; we all struggle with it.

But during our difficult times, God’s Love will surround us and comfort us-if we let it. For God is always merciful and full of Love for us.

But because He loves us; He will not always give us what we want, however He will ALWAYS give us what we need. We just need to keep praying, whether we feel like it or not! ?

When I was born, I was born with a large hole in my heart. I had open heart surgery at about age 6. Back then they kept you in the hospital 6 weeks! I suffered from bouts of pneumonia and bronchitis for 16 years. I was home about 3 months every year from school because I was so sick and weak I sometimes could not get from my bed to my bathroom without fainting.

During those years I read everything from Saints Books and the Bible to the Tales of King Arthur to Socrates and all of the great philosophers. And most of all-I talked with God. And I prayed.

Most of those years, thanks to God, I was at peace with my circumstances. But I remember in 8th grade thinking there must be something wrong with me that God would not heal me. But I was wrong, God was preparing me. And I remember when I was 18, I so badly wanted to “be like everyone else”. Wow, was that overrated, lol. So sometimes we all get off-track, and that’s okay. As long as we get back on track ?

The reason I share this with you my friends, is that we all suffer in some way. Sometimes that suffering can be seen by others and sometimes it can’t. But during those times, God never leaves our side. And God will ultimately use it for good.

So never give up and never lose hope! God will help you and He loves you! Your suffering will end!

Believe, Then What?

“Believe what you do believe, or else you will never persuade anybody else to believe it” – Charles Spurgeon

When we really think about it, Jesus suffered horrifically so that we might go to Heaven. And only those who accept His Great Gift go to Heaven. And those who accept His Great Gift must first believe in Him in order to accept it!

But if we do Believe, what next? Because if we truly Believe, wouldn’t we want to share that Great Gift and our faith in Jesus with everyone we meet? Wouldn’t we want to take everyone to Heaven with us?

“I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God. But whoever disowns me before others will be disowned before the angels of God.” – Luke 12:8-9 – Luke 12:8-9

We need to share our Faith in Jesus today!

God Always Something Good!

Gives Us That we live in tough times, there can be no doubt. That tougher times are coming is true. But just as True is that God always gives us something Good to hold onto . Something to remind us that He is our Hope and all is well! ?

Perhaps it’s a friend or family member that lifts us up. Perhaps it’s the kindness of a stranger. Perhaps it’s the beautiful world that we are surrounded by. And perhaps it’s the Bible itself!

It could be so many things! But God put it there, gave it to you, because He loves you and wants to remind you that He is with you “until the end”, when we come Home . Look for it! Hold on to it! God’s Got You ?

Heaven Is Mask-Free

There seems to be a lot of bad news out recently. Thanks to the government, masks are returning. Are Covid variants really that dangerous, only God knows.

Clearly the government wishes to continue their division of people by trying to pit those that are vaccinated against the unvaccinated. The Women’s Draft has been supported by both Democrats AND Republicans and will come to a floor vote later this year. Yet, another way to divide people.

Clearly our government continues their obsession with making men and women the “same”, even though God made them different. Gay rights and transgenderism rights continue their efforts as well. The latest of which is winning a court case that forces Christian web-site designers to write things that violate their faith-or quit their job. Yet, another way to divide people.

Even Christians are divided between those who believe God’s Word and those who don’t.

From gay marriage to forcing transgenderism on children to the “woke” military training, and all of the above, our country appears to be destroying itself from the inside-out.

And that is incredibly sad for all of us. We love this country and the values and traditions that built it. We always will. Will America recover? Only God knows.

But we will recover, because God loves us! The government may persecute Christians, the country may fall without a single shot being fired, many churches may be forced to become simply an arm of the government, but we, ourselves, we can still Follow Jesus.

And that is the Good News ?. Prayer does not require governmental approval. We can “hide Bible verses in our hearts”. And nothing on this earth can stop us from calling on the Lord when we are in need. And no power on earth can stop us from Loving Jesus and Loving our neighbor ?.

We are going Home to Heaven, and that is not something the “government” can stop. Heaven is our Forever Home-given to us by Christ. And no power on this earth can take Heaven from us. Don’t give up!

There’s no doubt that there has been an awful lot of bad news lately. But life on earth was always going to get difficult. The Bible told us that. And Jesus warned us of that, so we would be ready. That doesn’t make it any more pleasant, but it does steady us. God is still God, Jesus is still Jesus. And the Holy Spirit still lives in us ? . God still wins and so do we ?. Do not fear, God’s Got This!

Those who believe in Jesus will Meet at Heaven’s Gate, where there are NO masks!

We Must Not Let Fear Rule Us!

Glenn Beck wrote a book called Agenda 21 , available on Amazon

It’s a fictional book, but it does show what can happen when people allow their fears to rule them. There are some things we just need to find the courage to keep doing, even if we are scared sometimes.

We need to keep sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and how to reach Heaven!

We do need to keep reaching out to one another! Smile at someone. Chat with a stranger, visit a neighbor…

We do need to keep loving one another, no matter how hard the government and media try to divide us!

We do need to keep hugging one another! Human touch is important!

We do need to keep putting family first!

And we do need to especially keep putting our children first!

And we do need to keep reading God’s Word, the Holy Bible, as it was written! And sharing it!

God never meant us to be creatures of fear. Rather He told us,

“For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” -Isaiah 41:13

This is a verse we all need to memorize and hold in our hearts. God encourages us, let Him!
