9 And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.
GOOD EVENING IN THE MATCHLESS NAME OF JESUS GANG!! What an INCREDIBLE time Ricky and I had in the House of the Lord today!! Pastor Joe began his study of Hebrews 13, and it was very interesting. When I get the chance, I’ll post the sermon on here. Afterwards, we went to WAWA, picked up newspaper, etc. and came home. A great day to be had!!
While reading this morning’s Scripture, not only did verse 20 of II Chronicles 28 speak to me, but also this verse above, and really challenged me. I did a vlog on this verse above a while back, and another on the importance of TOTAL and FAITHFUL obedience recently, and felt led to share both with you. I invite you to listen to BOTH of them, and allow then to speak to you, as they are doing with me, and let God use them to help you be someone who serves God with a perfect/loyal heart and a WILLING mind! ?
As I close this post for this evening, I want to leave you with this previous prayer from this morning’s devotional, and pray that you will act on it. God, I’m often so afraid. And when I am, I’m tempted to rely on my own wits or courage—and that’s never enough. Be with me. Give me Your courage. I also pray, that you will learn to trust and obey God with EVERYTHING you have, and that you will choose to serve Him with a loyal/perfect heart and WILLING mind. That you will learn to trust and obey Him, with a WILLING heart, and to allow Him to provide you with the courage and strength you need to face the complicated, complex, dangerous, difficult, frustrating, or scary things of life and NOT rely on your own wits and courage. Choose to JUST DO IT, by being courageously obedient, and let God be in control!!
Most of all, I pray that if there is anyone reading this, who does not know Christ Jesus, that you will choose to make Him your Savior, and do so before it’s too late. Know that God truly LOVES you and that salvation is available for you!! He doesn’t care about your lifestyle, skin color, faith, ethnicity, what you’ve done, where you’re from, or anything about you, just that you let Him in your heart TODAY!! For those who think they can earn their way to Heaven, trust me when I tell you, there is no such thing as many paths, or other ways to Heaven, and the belief that there is no God, is a LIE. God very much DOES exist, and He is a just, holy, and righteous God who hates sin! However, He also LOVES you, and sent His one and only Son to die on the cross for YOU!! I invite you all RIGHT NOW, to call on His name today, seek His face, ask Him to forgive you of whatever sins you’ve committed, and He WILL forgive it.
