2 Timothy 4:18
"The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen."

The subject of faith has been greatly compromised and twisted in this modern era of cultural desire. Faith declares that God will rescue us from evil (even in death), and bring us safely through the portals of heaven. Some have determined that faith is a means of acquiring all they want or desire in this world. Many are saying the faith of God's people will destroy the current incoming government power, and restore Donald Trump to power. They are looking to man to lead us into some Utopian Christian Society. Only the return of Jesus Christ will bring about a Righteous Government, for man is possessed by a deceitfully wicked heart. This is not faith, but rather presumption and fantasyland Christianity. God has allowed a wicked, godless, unrighteous government to seize control of the United States. The Christian however, can rest assured that God will see His true people through whatever we may face in the coming months and years.

"The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost."

The word of God is always trustworthy and acceptable. The Bible is the story regarding the redemption of man which has been provided in Jesus Christ, who sacrificed His body on the cross for the sins of the world. He came for the express purpose of saving sinners, of which we have all been classified as such. "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." This defines all of humanity as guilty before God and condemned. Jesus Christ is the only solution to man's condemnation, for "there is but One Mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus."
