Media “mistakes” since 2016. Any mistake that is caught is simply reversed with a “correction” or a disclaimer that the journalists were given “faulty information”. There are zero repercussions for publishing untrue, misleading, or totally fabricated stories and passing them off as reliable information. Should freedom of the press include the responsibility to provide factually accurate news? I think so.
