MY State of the Union:
The United States we have today, is divided. It is divided amongst itself in virtually every sector.
We’ve lost the ability to communicate, to debate, to discuss ideas, to have open dialogue. We’ve corrupted ourselves with ignorance and hatred. We’ve divided ourselves into factions against ourselves.
Having grown up in the 90s, and early 2000s, I never saw violence perpetrated against people for their class, status, politics, or race. Our nation has turned against itself.
Now, violence will be seen daily, for something as simple as wearing a MAGA hat.
We’ve lost the “United” in these United States. The Unity within our Union is in jeopardy just as much as the Constitution itself is in jeopardy.
There should never be a Republican vs Democrat.
There should never be Left vs Right
Conservative vs Liberal
Christian vs Atheist
Black vs White
Rich vs Poor
Man vs Woman
We didn’t used to be like this as a nation... sure, we have had our struggles as a nation. But at what point in our nation were we filled with this much hatred towards one another?
We were less divided as a nation during the civil war!
The State of our nation, is in great peril. We have allowed corruption and cronyism to run rampant throughout our nation.
We have failed to hold those in office accountable. We have failed to do our due diligence as one people united for liberty.
We sacrifice our liberties for agendas. We are a divided nation. We are not a united nation.
Even among the conservatives, the republicans, the Christians, the patriots, the people who say they are on the same side. There is division.
This division does nothing but EMPOWER those who seek to abuse their power.
We are on a dangerous road in American History. If we don’t turn around, the first American Civil War will seem like child’s play.
There were only 2 sides to that war, and we lost 2% of our population, equaling 650,000 men.
2% of our current population would be 6.5 million people. How many of them will be your friends and family?
The State of the Union is grim. We must act in unity, or we will lose our Republic.
