There’s a new counterfeit religion gaining popularity in America. It’s cleverly disguised as “light and enlightenment” but it is actually the epitome of darkness and oppression. Much like Christianity, it has as one of its fundamental tenants, the concept of “original sin”. But unlike the original sin of Christianity, only certain people are born with this sin. Under this religion, not all, but only certain people are assumed to be born corrupted and pronounced guilty at birth. These people are assumed guilty and in need of redemption based, not on their words, deeds, or any evidence of guilt, but rather by the color of their skin. They are assumed “privileged” no matter how humble their hearts or circumstances in life. They are called “inherently racist” no matter how little evidence of racism may be seen in them or how much they may demonstrate unconditional love toward all men. And unlike the redemption of Christianity which finds atonement and complete forgiveness by the grace of a loving and all-merciful God, atonement under this religion is only possible through confessing, kneeling, and 100% submission to every dictate and demand of other human beings who are considered immune to this sin and who assume the position of priesthood and arbiters of justice. They, not God, are the judge of men’s hearts and the executors of “righteousness”. They, not God, assume the power to punish the guilty with character assassination, economic ruin, and even the destruction of life and property. Churches, businesses, sports teams, charities, and individuals all over the United States are quickly converting to this new religion in the hopes of finding forgiveness and atonement at the alter of “wokeness”. Time will tell how merciful and forgiving the god and priesthood of this new religion is compared to true God of Christianity.
