It's time to make some major changes. One thing the election taught us was the extent to which our speech and communication is being censored. We must act and act now to protect avenues of uncorrupted communication.

That means changing our viewing and searching habits. Here are steps I am taking immediately to do my part:

1. Switch my TV Channel of choice from Fox News to NewsMax. (Except for Tucker) Enough said.

2. I will continue to post on Facebook. With a chokehold monopoly on social media we really don't have any choice. But I will put those same posts on USA.Life. It may be a little cheesy, but I remember the rough start when Facebook took on MySpace years ago. Let's give them time to develop and support them.

3. Start using "1776Free," a start-up conservative search engine. I doubt this will bring Google to its knees, but I just feel better not helping that huge information monopoly make its next trillion. And the information is not filtered through their Chinese-Socialist paradigm.

Will this make any difference? Of course not. But what if 10 million of us did it?
