DOUBT – WHERE DOES IT COME FROM? Part 2

It’s hard to live in doubt when we enter God’s presence – His anointing transforms us and redirects our thoughts to the spiritual and away from the physical. I have recently learned how effective PRAISE is in spiritual warfare. I was in a spiritual battle with the Enemy for THREE WEEKS. I remembered that PRAISE is a weapon. I PUT IT TO TEST, and that very day God turned around a situation I prayed about for three weeks! Psalm 22:3 tells us that God “inhabits” the praise of His people. When we begin praising God, He is “IN” our praise, which means there’s no room for the Enemy – our praise kicks him out by default! AMEN! It’s easy to be negative while going through a tough situation, but it’s impossible to stay there when we shift our focus on God’s truth that He is sovereign over ALL. Be thankful for the little victories and praise God through it all.

Staying grounded in the Word is important during difficult times. Equally important is finding a community of believing friends and family who can encourage you. When faced with doubt, it’s an easy excuse to step away from relationships and friendships. Don’t allow this to happen. Remember that Satan ONLY comes to steal, kill and destroy. He doesn’t care “what” he is destroying, so long as he can accomplish it. DON’T LET THE ENEMY WIN! Seek out and learn on your community of family/friends who will be supportive and remind you of God’s grace. These are people who surprise you with your favorite treat one afternoon or schedule a take-a-meal calendar as you and your family go through a tough time. Thank God for communities of Christian brothers and sisters who are committed to serving Christ and encouraging each other.

Remember God is sovereign over all things, and we like to believe that God “rains down blessings.” Read Psalm 73. It says that David had observed the “prosperity of the wicked.” Our response to obstacles and difficulties either produces defeat or sets us up for BLESSINGS and VICTORIES. Victories and blessings hinge on OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S WORD.

Philippians 3:12-14 “Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

Matthew 28:20 Jesus speaking: “And, lo, I am with you ALWAYS, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Crying out in the wilderness,
