God has placed on my heart this week Matthew 24. While the whole chapter is wonderful to read, verses 23-26 have been weighing heavily on me. The passage says, "23Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25Behold, I have told you before. 26Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not." I have heard so many people (believers included) talk about a Great Awakening that Trump is going to bring to earth. Evil will be exposed and rooted out, and the world will live freely from evildoers and have wealth (nations) and peace, utopia really. Friends, if Trump does do this, it really speaks to the fulfillment of what the Anti-Christ is supposed to do when he arrives on the scene. I don't want to believe he is the Anti-Christ, so I must revert to Matthew 24 and the verses I shared. When people say, "he is our savior, follow him." Beware, even the elect are in danger of being deceived. If you are reading this, I care about your salvation and where you will be for eternity. Please let God's word inform you, comfort you and protect you. It is the ONLY source for truth we have in these perilous times. May God's will be done.
