liberals, who for decades have created causes that are not only culturally taboo but. in many instances of illegal as well, exploit the vulnerabilities of the majority's collective sentimentalism. The only practical solution to stop this decent into madness is for conservatives to break away from the mental framework determined and permitted them by their liberal opponents.
The reasons conservatives are being defeated in the culture wars lies in the methodology they employ in promoting what’s termed their “worldview.” Contemporary conservatism genuflects before the altar of liberalism by routinely and needlessly ceding moral authority to the left. In fact, conservatives themselves find life difficult even among their own if they transgress a leftist so-called taboo.
Conservatives, having sound principles and historic fact supporting their views need to firmly and equally engage. Such action does not sacrifice their integrity by engaging on equal terms with a liberal culture that has become thoroughly radicalized beyond any germane fact or sound logic to the contrary. Indeed, not doing so means entering the breach unarmed and unprepared in a manner of speaking and undoubtedly with a losing strategy.
The obvious first step is to question the shibboleths of liberalism by returning to their roots: focusing on substance over process; the why instead of the how; the welfare of the citizens, not just the government and the elites. Conservatives have nothing to be afraid or ashamed of them promoting their worldview, especially in law and politics, and they should do so assertively, unapologetically and most importantly, now!
