The 1690 Salem Witch trials and 2020 America have parallel stories. Both eras suffered from hyper hysteria caused by irritation superstition and name-calling. Social activism was spurred on by hypocritical, judgemental people, judging innocent people based on external observations and prejudice. In both situations, innocent people lost their livelihoods, reputations, and some lost their lives. History hasn't been kind to 1690 Salem and neither will it be to 2020 America.
