My city hires felons out of prison as their percieved duty to provide them with a "second chance". Hiring these violence prone felons over equally skilled non criminals. This policy has failed spectacularly twice in recent memory. The first time was with judge Lance Mason who pounded his wife into unrecognizable insensibility in front of their daughters. His wife divorced him during his prison term. After his release, the city of Cleveland hired him over others and he retained that position until he stabbed his ex wife to death at a supervised visitation meeting. Now the city has just seen the arrest of the founder of the Heartless Felons gang for menacing city employees.
