Brexit Betrayal in Progress as Starmer Discusses New Free Movement Deal

In a further dilution of Brexit, Britain’s new Labour government continues to tell journalists that “we are not considering a youth mobility scheme” with the European Union—that is to say, a return in some form of free movement. Yet when Spanish prime minister Pedro Sánchez made the case for a UK-Spain migration agreement at a meeting of the European Political Community (EPC) earlier this month, reportedly, UK PM Sir Keir Starmer was not dismissive of the idea. The PM’s attitude going into these talks is at odds with the wishes of millions of voters.
