After a traumatic 2019, I almost quit teaching. Being an adjunct for 10 yrs can be discouraging. I've mainly stayed in the area for my family, which I don't regret, but never being hired for a full time position sometimes makes me feel like my time, effort, and degree mean nothing. I hadn't taught painting for over four years until today, and it reminded me VERY POTENTLY why this is part my design. Teaching my passion is where I flourish. You know when you get that feeling like "I'm supposed to be alive"...
