The auction of video games which Mut 22 coins ran for two consecutive days in the month of March, the game of "John Madden Football" sold for $480,000. The price, far higher than what the game's value originally, set a world record for the most ever paid for a sports-related video game, according to Heritage Auctions.

"This very particular edition of this is especially remarkable because it is from the offices of its famous namesake," the auction house mentions. Part of the proceeds of the item will go to Heritage Auctions to a charitable foundation that was created in honor of Madden's memory.

In its three decades of existence, the John Madden Football video game franchise earned greater than $7 billion revenues according to the New York Times. The show began in 1988 and later changed to "Madden." NFL Network even had a program devoted to the video game "Madden NFL Live." It's now the second-highest-selling video sports game ever, just behind the soccer-based shows FIFA.

For those who aren't familiar for those not familiar, a new release of "Madden" is released every year, featuring a different athlete on its cover. The most recent, Madden 22 featured quarterbacks Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes. With each new version the player's ratings are released for real NFL players, which you are able to actually play within the games.

The auction in January brought cheap Madden 22 coins in close to $5 million and included the auction of several other games that were notable.
