Sociology refers to the scientific study of social organization and social interaction.

According to sociologists and the source where you can buy coursework our thoughts and actions are influenced by social surrounding. The origin of sociology can be attributed to three main factors which include the industrial revolution, the success of the natural sciences as well as imperialism.

The industrial revolution occurred in the 18th century in Europe leading to a change in the social order. It caused the migration of people to cities where they faced challenges and eventually developed new ideas about democracy and political rights. Through imperialism, European countries conquered other parts of the world bringing hence they encountered new cultures and started questioning the differences.

Among them, Karl Marx has the most interesting and relevant argument. His search for the fundamental principles of the history was based on the economic environment in which the society developed. Karl Marx’s main idea was that the society is divided into the haves and the have-nots, which leads to the class conflict. Obviously, his argument of those who have the resources and those who do not have them is still applicable today.
