In earlier expansions, Horde players had a better hand in PvP, not due to Lich King's most powerful weapons, however due to Orcs and Undead's racial capabilities that were far more powerful WOTLK Classic Gold. Some of you be aware, even the smallest buffs in PvP can play a significant role in the fight. This is the reason why in WoTLK the developers discovered ways to help the Alliance gain a foothold in PvP while also removing the issue where every fourth player plays as an Undead.

The solution to the problem is in the new ability of human race that allows them to use two trinket slots instead one. The players still have to find and use the most effective WoTKL Lich King weapons, but the ability to use an additional trinket can make all the difference.

In the early version the game took some time for the community to appreciate the benefits of this change. Furthermore there was a change to those with Undead and Orc capabilities for racial races were later removed, which resulted that humans were a majority in PvP arenas by the close of 2010. Players are aware of this new feature, and so when the WoW Wotlk classic comes out in the future, the population on both sides will be roughly equal. This is significant as there were many players who were not keen to play as Horde but also thought they were unfairly disadvantaged to play in the side that was losing.

On the other hand it is expected that Horde players will have better PvE capabilities, which will lead to Horde players being first to beat majority of content that is endgame. A group that was concentrated on PvP is now dominant in PvE and vice versa.
