With fourteen characters and forty vehicles to choose from, Beach Buggy Racing 2 is a game like no other. Each character has different power-ups and special attacks, from launching beach balls at your opponents to sending your opponents flying. You can even use a turbo boost to give your competitors a boost in the race. It's a surprisingly addictive game. You can even get extra lives by winning races with friends!

The graphics of Beach Buggy Racing 2 are improved thanks to the use of Vector Unit, but they still don't look as good as the original game. Still, the game does look much better than its predecessor, albeit with the same dreary background and bland visuals. The game's soundtrack is more appealing, featuring ska and surf rock tunes, but the sound effects aren't particularly impressive. Still, if you don't like the way sound effects sound, you can always turn them off and try again.

While Beach Buggy Racing 2 doesn't have the same level of difficulty as its predecessor, it still provides an enjoyable karting experience. While it may not be on par with Mario, Sonic, or Crash Bandicoots, it's a good choice if you enjoy racing games with a frantic pace and a sense of adventure. Despite the lack of recognizable branding, it's worth checking out if you love the series.
