There is a show for every PlayStation Movie and TV Show on DevelopmentSony is currently cooking up a ton of PlayStation-related films and TV shows. Over the last few several years Sony continues to rev up the newly established PlayStation Productions with D2R Items. The production company is currently involved in at-least 7 projects that are known, many that are beyond the early stages of being simply a concept on a whiteboard.

Some of them have been shot, some are preparing to shoot, some are in the scripting phase The picture is clear. Naturally, PlayStation is serious about this initiative it's something that cannot be said of a bunch of other studios that are trying to make video games more adaptable.

PlayStation Productions released its first project with its long-awaited Uncharted. It is a film adaptation Naughty Dog's favorite game has been in the works for more than a decade trading hands with numerous writers, directors and actors.

The final film starred having Tom Holland in the role of Nathan Drake and although the film was not a huge success with critics, it brought in some decent profits at the box office and promises the possibility of a sequel. It's likely more live-action Nathan Drake adventures are on the way at some point. The possibility of a future Uncharted sequel isn't the only thing Sony has to do, though.

The Last of Us - HBO TV SeriesWhat could be the next release by PlayStation Productions is yet another Naughty Dog-inspired adaptation. HBO is adapting The Last of Us with Chornobyl's Craig Mazin and The Last of Us co-creator Neil Druckmann at the helm of the production.

In the movie, Mandalorian's star Pedro Pascal will play Joel Miller and Game of Thrones actor Bella Ramsey will play Ellie Williams, two roles that carry a lot in baggage due to their emotional journeys and how important they are as characters to the fans.

The show is expected to follow the story of the games pretty precisely, but it may have new additions which reportedly include flashbacks as well as characters who were mentioned but not seen as part of the gameplay. The show has no exact release date, however it is anticipated to debut sometime in 2023.

This show could filming, though it's likely to wrap up filming right at the moment.Twisted Metal is also set to air on the small screen the video game series which has not been on air since the year 2012. Peacock will broadcast an adaptation of the game in an hour-long comedy with stars like Anthony Mackie, Thomas Haden Church, Neve Campbell, and many others, which means it's a star-studded production.

On paper, the project sounds pretty interesting, but it's likely to be an enormous task to realize given the stylized nature and sheer size of Twisted Metal games. The filming process is currently in the midst of filming or very close to starting production. There is no specific release date, but it is scheduled to be released on Peacock at some point in 2023.Following the huge positive response to Ghost of Tsushima in 2020, Sony quickly moved to approve a film adaptation of the film that is already very cinematic.

The movie will be helmed by the director Chad Stahelski, the director of the John Wick series, so it's expected that the film will include some stunning action scenes with Diablo 2 Resurrected buy items. The film is currently being directed by Takashi Doscher who is responsible for some independent films, but it's unclear at present what extent it will follow the game. Since the film is being developed, there's currently no release date and no details on the casting.
