"The designers decided to make an individual character that was the Shadowlands' symbol of trans. What exactly does it look like? Is it possible to WoTLK Gold make that happen and have a character that is authentic and sound like it's talking to these elements?" Cash explained. "So we worked with the LGBT group internally and getting feedback from our voice actor, receiving feedback from the audience, making sure our scripts were written in a way that felt real, which was genuine and heartfelt. And that's just one of the many characters that are part of different spaces."

"At at the conclusion of the day, my point is that we do believe Azeroth is a home for everyone and so there is much effort put into Shadowlands to make this more true than it's ever been," Cash added.

This month, Blizzard revealed the first information about Pelagos and his tale. Pelagos was depicted as a female in his previous life, but now lives as a man after death in Shadowlands. Fans reacted at the time the game made him known using they/them pronouns. This was changed to he/him in the alpha.

"The team had initially written him to use the pronoun they/them, but received feedback that he/him would be more considerate of the character's desires and be identified as a male. This change is simply the result of us listening and reacting to feedback from the team," Blizzard said at the time.

Following a delay Shadowlands is scheduled to launch on November 23 on PC. In addition to the standard edition, you can preorder the World of Warcraft : Shadowlands collector's edition for $120. It comes with a level increase, flying mount, transmog quest pet, weapon effects, and much more.
