Two of World of Warcraft 's biggest creators of content WoTLK Gold, Preach Gaming and MadSeasonShow and MadSeasonShow, have left Blizzard's long- MMO for greener pastures, though they each have different reasons for moving on.
In a new clip titled "End of an Era - Why We're No More Covering WoW," Preach explained why the channel decided to end daily WoW reporting, with a focus on both the recent California lawsuit brought against Activision Blizzard over the company's allegations of a "frat Boy" culture that is rife with sexual harassment and the state of WoW's latest Shadowlands expansion. Preach said that in light of recent allegations, and the response of Activision Blizzard leadership, he no longer feels comfortable promoting Blizzard's game.
"That is what actually happens when you have a relationship I have with Blizzard with regard to having a huge audience," Preach says. "We make content, we examine material that is being developed. We have the opportunity to review things ahead of time to make sure we get this information to you as a promotional tool.Allegations in the lawsuit have caused the resignation of many Blizzard veterans who were among them Blizzard President J. Allen Brack buy WOW WoTLK Classic Gold and the lead designer of the game Jesse McCree. The World of Warcraft character sharing McCree's name will be undergoing changing its name in the near future.
