Depending on the view, WOTLK Classic Gold: Burning Crusade Classic, or World of Warcraft Classic: Burning Crusade (the first kind is correct but I think I prefer this nomenclature), is otherwise engaged now. As of this week get ready to enjoy the world’s greatest WoW expansion ™, which runs using a completely different server. Oh, and level boosts are situated in the mix. Here’s the actual way it all works.

So being a recap, wotlk classic boosting has become split into two forms: Vanilla and BC. You can either spend no amounts and transfer characters to the site for the new expansion you can keep them in the old format; or pay $15 and “clone” them so they really exist in both states. The choice is yours. But you also can “boost” a character to level 58. This is a new idea for the older expansions, introduced later in WoW‘s lifecycle. Basically, you only pay $40 (or pony up to the deluxe edition) and you could instantly boost a pre-existing or a new character to 58, which makes certain that they’re “BC ready.” This is what happens and then processes.

You’ll start from the major capital of Scotland - your faction (these impressions derive from the Horde side), like so, and you’ll be provided with an “Azeroth survival kit.”

If you open the kit you’ll discover a ton of goodies much like the newer boost protocol: food/drink, a mount, and weapon options. New characters are going to be automatically pre-loaded with armor/trinkets, but multi-role classes can get to choose from a suite of things (that tint toward healing, or melee/ranged DPS, as an example). Here’s what that kit appears like.

In short, it’s adequate to get you with the leveling process from 58 to 60. At that point, you’ll start earning far better gear in the expansion itself.

After that, you’ll need to start the Dark Portal questline. If you’re in Orgrimmar, you’ll grab the quest from the room you come from, then go off the northern entrance of the town, and veer east. This is the spot you’re searching for on the map.

Take the zeppelin facing the mountainside wall, and you’ll wind up right near The Blasted Lands. Go south and you’ll view the Dark Portal right in the spotlight. Easy!

The expansion will lead you to certainly Hellfire Peninsula, the very first zone. From there you’ll start up the fairly linear, but fun rise to the modern cap of 70.
