"By having you unravel her story of what's happening and how it affects the world, and you'll get to understand her motives," directed game creator Joe Shely. "You can understand what she's trying for and you'll become more connected to her . And maybe there's even a little sense of mystery there, where it's like watching Star Wars and go like that Vader was right. The idea of getting more time with the big bad means that you'll have a more satisfying resolve as you play through the story as you progress through it."

Diablo 4 doesn't stray from its hack-and-slash-style action that the series is famous for, however, the movement feels more fluid and active due to the evade option.
