The A2 category of driving license permits you to operate motorcycles without sidecars, with the maximum engine output of 35 kW. The power/weight ratio of the motorcycle cannot exceed 0.2kW/kg.
This driving licence is designed to permit you to get your first small motorcycle driving license early and then progress to the A2 licence with a higher engine power.
Scooters and motorcycles
Driving license category A2 is the next level of a motorcycle driver's licence. It allows you to drive mopeds and small motorcycles up to 50cc. The course is designed to allow you to slowly climb the ladder of engine power and cautiously fantasize about a larger one. The test is more challenging and requires more understanding.
The category A2 driving licence is valid until you reach the age of 24. It can be used together with a category A1 car driving licence or as an interim driver's license. If you have completed a two-part moped test or motorcycle test in a lower category from the 1st of July 1996, then you are eligible to skip the theory test and only take the test in practice. You can ride a small moped or scooter with L plates, or obtain the new AM licence that will allow you to ride 50cc bikes with a top speed of 45mph. The AM licence is only valid if you have taken your theory test and attended nine hours of instruction divided into theory and practical instruction at a driving school.
Four-wheeled vehicles
This category covers all motor vehicles with four wheels that are not buses or passenger cars. This category includes utility vehicles, such as pickups, vans and panels. Motorhomes, campers and lorries are also included. This category also includes vehicles like ambulances, hearses, testynaprawojazdy eu (images.google.cf) and carryalls that are made to transport eight or more people or have a weight limit of 750kg or more. A1 drivers can drive such vehicles with a trailer weighting up to 775kg.
You must have passed the theory test to be able to drive a car in this category. To pass you must attend a total of 12 lessons for 90 minutes of the base content and four additional lessons lasting 90 minutes for the additional (category A2). The theoretical tests are a passing score of 70%..
After passing the theory test you will have to take a practical driving examination on both private and public roads. If you pass both of these, you will receive an application for a driving license. You will have to submit this request to the local authority within three years of passing the practical test.
After passing your driving test, it's possible to begin driving vehicles in the category A2. In certain countries, once you have an A1 license for two years, there is no need to take a separate test to obtain a category A2 driving license, which allows you to operate motorcycles that have a maximum power of 35 kW. Motor vehicles with five or more wheels
This category includes power-driven vehicles that are designed to be used on roads and for the transport of passengers or goods. They must have at the very least two or three wheels that are in contact with the ground as well as a saddle or seat for the driver and passengers, and an engine that can produce speeds of 20 miles per hour or more. These vehicles come with brakes and a steering wheel. They also have the capability to be steered in a normal direction and can travel in reverse. In certain instances the hoods of these vehicles may be opened. This term was traditionally used for trucks (vans minivans, minivans, panel, pickups and sport utility vehicles) and buses that hold more than 16 passengers. However, a separate set of federal regulations governing uniform licensing standards for commercial vehicle drivers follows an entirely different definition, which excludes vehicles with gross weight ratings of 26,001 or more.
In addition, the category A2 driving license can also be used to operate a moped, motor-driven bike, or motorcycle. Motor vehicles with trailers
Category A2 comprises motor vehicles with trailers. These are not driven by drivers, but are pulled by larger vehicles such as cars. The licence you receive for category A2 is valid for three years from the date you pass your theory test. You must renew it prior the expiry date to ensure it remains in effect.
In addition to the categories above, you may also get a licence to drive other vehicles that meet certain requirements. You will require a licence to drive a big vehicle (category C), which requires you to know the regulations for transporting dangerous goods.
A driving licence for cars in category B will allow you to drive an automobile and trailer that doesn't meet the requirements of category C. This is where the code 96 is used. You must hold a driving license for category B for at minimum two years, and you must pass both a theory as well as a practical test.
