At the beginning of your RuneCrafting experience it is necessary to OSRS Gold complete Rune Mysteries quest which is required before you can begin crafting runes. While this quest won't reward RC points, you can still complete the Enter The Abyss miniquest which will bring you from level 1 to 9.

This way you skip painful initial process of doing air, water and mind runes. Also, if you've 46 Magic five construction along with the Grand Tree completed you can go on to complete The Eyes of Glouphrie quest that will get you up to Level 23 (if Enter the Abyss is completed as well). If you're not interested in having to complete quests, you're going to make Air Runes.

If you've not done The Eyes of Glouphrie quest at level 9 you will be making Earth Runes which are fastest at this point. Earth Altar can be found just north-east of Varrock and is located just prior to the Lumberyard. To get to level 14 you will need to go through around 8 trips. If you'd like to make those faster you can use Varrock teleports or Lumberyard Teleports. However, it may cost you more.

After you reach level 14 You should take your rune/pure essences and run through the Fire Altar which is located to the north of the Duel Arena. Due to this, you'll need to purchase a Ring of Duelling which gives rapid teleports to the Duel Arena. When you've run through this area toward the Altar and make your runes you'll be able to transfer to Castle Wars with the same ring. Inside the lobby there is a chest in which you can save the runes you have made as well as take clean essences with you for your next journey. Craft Fire Runes for around 20 trips , and you'll reach level 23.

Level 23 grants the ability to Cheap RuneScape Gold train Runecrafting by using mix runes. Those can be made at this altar, which is also used for Fire runes , which is just below Duel Arena (teleport with Rings of Duelling). To craft, the plays require Earth Talisman, Fire Tiara, Earth Runes, Pure Essences in addition to a Binding Necklace.
