Welcome to our first class for 2021 as we dive into an older book written by John MacArthur and in its day cause a pretty amazing stir in the churches.
We will be taking our time with this right along with your Word for Word translation Bible. If you do not understand what I just said, please PM me so I can explain that it is very important and NO I am NOT saying all you can use is a KJV (King James Version Bible) only. I do not wish to take time for that here, however.
This study is going to open your eyes to things you have never heard in church before. Which is very sad, very scary and very dangerous. This is not because this is "New Revelation" just found by MacArthur or some other man of God that has been so blessed by the Holy Ghost that he found something no one has been able to in 2000 years.
It is not because God snatched up a person, took him on a train ride like Jesse Duplantis has declared on many occasions where God brought him to ask him for advice on different topics. That being GOD ASKING JESSE FOR ADVICE. Forgive my caps my eyes were rolling in my head to head to see the smaller letters I had to use the big ones.
Men like THIS have so changed what it means to "become saved" that even "normal" good churches have become very infected with the lies they tell, the trash doctrines from the Roman Catholic church which never really left in some cases and so on.
So, what IS truly the things Christ taught and what is not? These are the things we will dive into and much more. So much so, I will be very surprised if some of you will not become VERY offended, angry, and so on as YOUR doctrine is challenged greatly. IF you stick around, cause we will still love you even as you are angry with me, you will begin to see things you never saw before. That is IF God graciously opens your eyes to His truths.
If so, you will have a "NEW ATTITUDE" and desire Christ over the church you do to, the beliefs you believe and ALL you will want is God's truths even if it means everything you thought you knew was WRONG and you must relearn everything. Rollback 206 or so years ago and that is where I was and I would do it again in a second. My prayer from day one was, "Lord give me Your wisdom NOT man's twistings."
So, let's learn all we can about the topic preachers tell everyone is the easiest thing you can ever do, "Just come to Jesus give your heart to Him and believe in Jesus and you are saved."
