Media “mistakes” since 2016. Any mistake that is caught is simply reversed with a “correction” or a disclaimer that the journalists were given “faulty information”. There are zero repercussions for publishing untrue, misleading, or totally fabricated stories and passing them off as reliable information. Should freedom of the press include the responsibility to provide factually accurate news? I think so.

Imagine if you will, a meeting in February of leading Dems and media moguls. “Stormy Daniels, Russian collusion, Ukraine, and impeachment have all failed. Bernie is going to drop out and that leaves us with a terrible candidate that has no chance of winning in November with the economy as strong as it is. What can we do to crash the economy before the election?” Doesn’t seem so far-fetched now.
