Daily blessings and prayers from Scripture.

Galatians 1:3-4 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age...

Isaiah 57:1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

Psalm 20:7  Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of YHWH our God.

Psalm 107:9 for He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.

Romans 8:35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?

Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose.

May you persist in patiently trusting God and His promises, and rest in confident assurance of the Lord and His loving care for you, after you have cried out to Him about the violence and destruction that is before you. When the abounding strife and conflict paralyzes the law and never allows justice to prevail,  permitting the wicked to pervert justice by hemming in the righteous, He is going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told. Habakkuk 1

May you faithfully stand your watch at your station on the ramparts, looking to see what the Lord will say to you, though you do not understand how the Lord, Who is eternally righteous and cannot tolerate wrong, remains silent while the wicked swallow up those more righteous than themselves. Habakkuk 1

May you not trust in your own creation for it has no value; it cannot speak, and there is no breath or life in it, neither is there truth or guidance in it. Only the Lord, who is God, is worthy of trust. Habakkuk 2

May you understand that the righteous, who are made that way by the finished work of Christ, can only live by His faith, which is a gift from the Lord. Otherwise, except by the grace of God, we would each follow our own carnal desires and be consumed by the woes which are coming upon the earth, until it is filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2

Be diligent, My child, to remain alert for you are in territory claimed by the enemy. I have legally ended his power and legitimately refuted his claim by paying in full his stated asking price – My death.

By that payment, I have given you authority to declare victory, and power to walk as an overcomer. But the arrogance and hubris of the enemy will not allow him to quit fighting against My commands or cease resisting My will.

Therefore you must stay attentive to My voice and remain conscious of My leading, lest the lies of the enemy divert you from the tasks I assign you. Do not let the smoke of his deceit blind you to the truth of My Word, or the murky darkness of his fraudulent pretense lead you to error.

Remain in My Word, receive life from My Spirit, rejoice in My Presence, and go forth as I send you to rescue the prisoners still bound by lies, to heal those wounded by deceit, to nourish those starved by hoaxes, to clothe those left in rags by thievery, to encourage those lost in doubt by deception, for I am with you always.

May you be silent in reverence  before the Lord, Who is in His holy temple. His deeds are awesome, and He will renew them in your day, making them known in your time, when He remembers mercy to His own in the midst of His wrath being poured out upon the world. Habakkuk 3

Though your heart pounds and your lips quiver at the sound of all that the Lord is doing among the nations, may you yet wait patiently for the day of calamity which the Lord will bring upon His enemies. Although the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, although the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, although there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet you will still rejoice in the Lord and be joyful in God your Savior. He is your strength and makes your feet like the feet of a deer, enabling you to go on the heights. Habakkuk 3

May God grant you His seal on your forehead and on your thoughts, that you will be kept safe from the agony that will come upon those without it. Revelation 9

May you consider the spiritual Jerusalem, the place where God places His name and chooses to dwell, as your highest joy, though for now you dwell as a pilgrim in a land foreign to it. Psalm 137
