J. Vernon McGee died in 1988, though his Through the Bible still continues on.

Billy Graham, Jerry Falwell, and Bill Piper are gone as well.

Chuck Swindoll, Charles Stanley, John MacArthur, and David Jeremiah are all in their 80s (or close enough.)

Even Franklin Graham, Greg Laurie, and Alistair Begg are rapidly approaching 70.

Jim Bakker, Jimmy Swaggart, Benny Hinn, Joel Osteen, Creflo Dollar, Carl Lentz, Kenneth Copeland, (and a host of others) are just simply insane and wouldn't know a Biblical truth if it slapped them in the face.

So, who is next up at bat?

FaceBook has proposed a new cryptocurrency along the lines of Bitcoin, except one which they manage and control across their some three billion users. They have named this currency Libra.

Now here is something interesting.

In the book of Revelation, there is a passage in the sixth chapter that states the following:

(5) When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. (6) Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!”

This is part of a series of judgments against the world approaching the final days. The essence of this passage indicates that the world's economy is in shambles, where the basic commodities of life are too expensive for most people to afford, but the luxuries available to the rich are abundant and fairly priced. It is one of the few passages in the Bible that directly addresses the economy.

What is most interesting is the description of the rider of the black horse. He is holding a set of scales, scales being used to measure out purchases. So where do we know of scales?

How about the constellation Libra -- the astrological sign of the scale.

Interesting that the name of their cryptocurrency is also named Libra.

They could have named that currency anything they wanted, yet they chose Libra.

Just an interesting connection....

A friend of mine told me that time heals all wounds. So I stabbed him.

Now we wait.....

We do not want war with Iran. We do not want war with North Korea. We do not want war with Syria. Nor China, nor Russia, nor Venezuela, But if they start something -- directly or by proxy -- we will surely finish it with haste.

And that is why we strategically place troops and arms in areas of the world where are interests need to be protected.

Liberals who make the claim that Republicans are warmongers have no clue how to responsibly protect themselves against enemies. They would rather wholly accept appeasement as a solution rather than engage in the specter of provoked war if our enemies should get adventurous at our expense.

You gotta love this.

Liberals spend two or three generations tearing apart the fabric of the United States, then complain that things are falling apart.

They have destroyed the nuclear and extended family by providing a nanny state that does not need a father.

They have pushed people into levels of education they don't need to be successful by allowing crushing levels of debt to be backed by the government.

They have dramatically lessened the very number of people in our nation by pushing abortion at all costs.

They have diluted our national heritage by allowing floods of illegal aliens to overwhelm our systems, language, values, and our ethos.

They have celebrated the use of mind-altering substances so that we have multitudes of people who can not rationalize properly.

They have over-borrowed, over-taxed, and over-spent our national treasure -- the fruits of our hard-earned labor -- to throw it away on people who contribute less than nothing.

They so over-regulate every aspect of our society that no one feels the need to act with caution and forethought within their own responsibility, but first must get permission from government to do anything.

They remove God from all aspects of our public discourse and then expect the foolishness of man's philosophical and ethical relativistic pseudo-knowledge to provide any answers.

Liberals don't build; they tear down. They don't edify; they debase.

Then they blame conservatives.

And their ignorant followers believe them.
